2. John Arcidiacono, Vice President of TMI® and an expert on how the air barrier system must be woven through the entire construction process will be presenting at the Air Barrier Association of America Conference & Trade show on March 24, 2016 at 1:00 pm.

Mr. Arcidiacono has worked extensively in the building envelope/air barrier industry, specializing in air barrier design reviews, consulting, inspections, testing, building science, building thermography, fenestration testing, while building airtightness testing and R&D.

Topic to be presented by Mr. Arcidiacono:
“Missing the Big Picture: Common “Disconnects” in Air Barrier Systems from Design to Construction”.

The presentation will address several common disconnects encountered in the building process, specially issues relating to the design, coordination of trades, and installation of Air Barrier Systems. Attendees will benefit by gaining awareness of these disconnects, understanding how they impact the overall quality of a project, and how to implement solutions to help pass the Whole Building Airtightness test required by USACE Air Leakage Test Protocol and identified in the 2012 -2015 International Energy Construction Code “IECC”.

3. Katharine Sweeton, a TMI® team member and Registered Architect who recently retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers after 31 years of service will be presenting at the Air Barrier Association of America Conference & Trade show on March 23, 2016 at 10:00 am.
